You’ll be thrilled visiting us for hair toning to refresh faded color, neutralize unwanted brassy tones, and more! 1. Hair Consultation
We’ll start with a consultation discussing your hair type and desired result. We’ll have an in-depth conversation in your goal of neutralizing brassiness, adding warmth, refreshing the fading color, etc. Our hair stylist will also make sure to use the right toner shade depending on your skin tone.
2. Shampoo and Scalp Cleansing
To make sure your hair is a clean canvas, we recommend shampooing and cleansing the scalp. We’ll use one of our recommended products to gently clarify your hair removing any dirt and oils.
3. Toning Solutions and Tools Preparation
Your hair stylist(s) will start gathering the necessary tools for a seamless and hassle-free process. We’ll also begin on mixing the hair toner formula with the developer.
4. Hair Toner Treatment Application
Your hair stylist will then apply the treatment to damp hair. We’ll take small, thin sections and apply the treatment throughout the hair with a comb for blended and even results. The treatment process is about 5-20 minutes.
5. Conditioning and Rinsing Hair
Thoroughly rinsing and removing the toner, we’ll then apply a lightweight color-safe conditioner to bring hydration back to the hair and scalp. This also ensures no dullness to the hair and doesn’t ruin the toner.
6. Blow-Drying and Finishing Touches
Finally, we’ll blow dry the hair to check if the toner corrected the issue and is the proper shade. A round brush or flat iron will be used depending on your hair type to gently assist in drying the hair. We’ll also discuss maintenance so you can confidently rock your toned hair again!
