1. Hair Consultation
We’ll start with a consultation discussing your hair type and hair history. After a careful analysis of your current hair, our hair stylists will explain the process of our ProAddiction Hair Straightening Treatment.
2. Shampoo and Scalp Cleansing
To make sure your hair is a clean canvas, we recommend shampooing and cleansing the scalp. We’ll use one of our recommended products to gently clarify your hair removing any dirt and oils. We’ll use a clarifying shampoo on virgin hair or a hydrating shampoo on chemically-treated hair.
3. Straightening Solutions and Tools Preparation
Your hair stylist(s) will start gathering the necessary tools for a seamless and hassle-free process. They will also start sectioning out your hair to provide an easy and smooth transition.
4. Applying ProAddiction Treatment
Your hair stylist will then apply the treatment to 100% dry hair. Depending on the ProAddiction treatment chosen, we’ll take small, thin sections and apply the treatment throughout the hair starting from the roots and brushing downward with a comb.
5. Processing Time
The ProAddiction treatment will need about 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on how fine or thick your hair is. This ensures even and complete straightening of your hair. Once complete, we’ll take you back to the sink and rinse your hair out with no product.
6. Blow-Drying and Brushing
We’ll blow dry your hair to examine the straightening process. Depending on your hair type, we’ll either use a round brush or a flat iron to assist in drying the hair.
7. Second Shampoo Rinse
To ensure no product is left behind and doesn’t become overprocessed, we’ll rinse your hair once more with a hydrating shampoo to bring moisture back after being chemically treated.
8. ProAddiction Hydrating Mask Application
We’ll do one more rinse, this time with our hydrating mask to ensure minimal dryness and damage. We’ll apply the mask, leave it on for 5-10 minutes and then wash it out.
9. Hair Straightening
Finally, we’ll blow dry your hair once more gently with a brush to reveal beautifully straightened hair. Rock your new hair and be confident in long-lasting, silky smooth hair!
